FALCONFIRE POTTERY

Welcome to Falconfire, a small pottery on the outskirts of Duluth, Minnesota. Falconfire is gaining national attention for producing functional pottery, ceramic art, and handcrafted tiles with distinctive quality and style. Pieces are typically fashioned out of stoneware clay then fired to over 2300 °F. (Whew! That’s volcano HOT.)

“Clay is a perfect medium for capturing nature’s motion and magic,” says Sharon Moen, Falconfire’s primary artist and owner. “Clay and the process of turning it into more than a handful of soil echoes Earth’s cycles and life as tempered by hope and fire. My background in ecology and time spent outdoors inspires my designs and my life.”
